Opinion Survey
As part of efforts to be more responsive to the needs of its clients, partners, and stakeholders, the World Bank Group’s Liberia Country Team contracted the service of the Liberia Media Center to conduct the Liberia Country Opinion Survey to get the opinions of respondents on its work in Liberia. The World Bank Group required that country teams, across the globe, independently and objectively survey their stakeholders to better inform the development of their strategies. This according to the Bank was particularly important considering the changes taking place at the Bank.
The overall purpose of the assignment was to provide logistical support to the World Bank in conducting its Client Feedback Survey in Liberia. The purpose of the survey was to enable the Bank to obtain systematic feedback from its clients with the objective of enhancing its responsiveness and improving its capacity to achieve results. This entailed measuring clients’ reactions to the products and services that were being delivered by quantitatively gauging attitudes.
The Survey was focused primarily on seven groups of clients:
- Officials and staff of the central government ministries or implementation agencies;
- NGOs/CBOs/Trade Unions
- Bilateral/Multilateral Agency
- Private/Financial Sector
- Academia/Think Tanks
- Media
- Project Implementation Unit
- Bilateral or multilateral agencies;
- Business and private sector organizations;
The LMC has over the years conducted four rounds of survey for the Bank.
