Mr. Bill K. Jarkloh is a Senior Media Trainer/Field Officer at the Liberia Media Center (LMC). He previously worked with the Embassy of Ghana (2005-2009) as Executive Officer for Information (as head of local staff), having earlier edited an array of mainstream independent media outlets. They include THE ANALYST, the NEWS, the INQUIRER, the ANALYST and the SARAFINA VENTURES & COMMUNICATIONS Inc., Publisher of the Liberian Journal and owner of the LOVE FM/TV and the TORCHLIGHT Newspaper and Crescent Magazine. Others are the EYE, the POST, The NEWS and MIRROR. Bill was recruitment into the management of the Liberia Media Center in 2011 as a trainer and made Field officer for an EU sponsored Peace project thereafter.  He holds two certificates (one in Print journalism and the other in Leadership and Conflict Transformation) at the University of Liberia (UL). He also earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications with emphasis on Broadcasting (Major) and Sociology (minor).  Bill has matriculated at the Kofi Anna Institute for Conflict Transformation (KAICT) at the University of Liberia where he is reading Peace Studies & Conflict Transformation (PSCT) for his graduate degree. Trained at home and abroad, in 2008, Mr. Jarkloh along with like-minded colleagues founded the Women Protecting Female Inmate & Welfare (WOPROFIW), a registered NGO and civil society organization he serves as Program Consultant. Mr. Jarkloh is a father of a girl child, Ms. Billvela Jarkloh.
