Wesley D. George is a Liberian. He is a Media Monitor Supervisor/Trainer (Expert) at the Liberia Media Center. He previously worked for both print and broadcast media institutions and also worked as a researcher and academician. He joined the Liberia Media Center in 2007 as a media monitor and subsequently rose to the position of media monitor supervisor in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications from the University of Liberia and also a former Post Graduate Student Kofi Annan Institute for Conflict Transformation University of Liberia. Wesley D. George started active journalism in Liberia as far back as 2000. He comes with a lot of theoretical and practical hands –on- experience as it relates to the position he presently occupies. Wesley holds several certificates from reputable national and international institutions in different field of study. Over the years Wesley had worked with various institutions which include but not limited to: International Research & Exchange Broad (IREX), Radio Veritas, Saturday Express Newspaper, The New Day Newspaper, Varsity Pilot, West Africa Democracy Radio and IBI-Liberia USAID-GEMS.
